Q. How did you find out about Limbach?
A.
My career counselor at Northeastern
mentioned that the Boston office was hiring and recommended that I apply
to Limbach.
Q. What made you want to work for this company? Was there anything that
stood out in particular?
A.
Throughout my undergraduate studies I had planned
on going to grad school to pursue a degree in project management. Once
I was introduced to the LEMT program I felt it would be an extremely
great opportunity for me as it was designed to eventually lead to management
positions. At
Northeastern I was able to participate in several co-op assignments,
these exposures allowed me to recognize the uniqueness of the LEMT program
and the high quality of Limbach’s management. The program provides
thorough training not available in other companies.
Q. How did you hear about the LEMT Program?
A.
During my interview, Dennis
Sacco informed me about what the LEMT program provides. I immediately
understood what a tremendous opportunity it is.
Q. Current Assignment:
A.
Asst. Project Engineer for Major Projects Division
Q. Current Responsibilities:
A. I currently assist Project Managers with
pricing changes, and reviewing and processing RFI’s. I am also
involved with the planning for coordination drawings.
Q. What have you learned so far?
A.
I have already completed my training in
the Estimating department as well as Special and Major Projects. Through
these assignments I have learned an immeasurable amount about the day-to-day
workings of these departments, such as the method in which a project
is bid and sold. I am looking forward to continuing the learning process.
Q. What kind of support have you received during this learning process?
A.
The support has been tremendous. In each of the departments that
I have trained in I had a mentor to guide me. I have also been fortunate
to have a direct mentor, who has overseen my program in order to ensure
that I’m getting the most out of the program.
Q. What have you liked most about the program?
A. I appreciate that I was
able to be directly involved with three different divisions, this allowed
me to see how they differ and where I fit into each department.
Q. What do you hope to accomplish (goals)?
A.
I hope to have a successful management
career here at Limbach. I’m
looking forward to having the chance to support a class of LEMT’s
the way I have been helped here at Limbach
