Accessibility Policy

Effective Date: October 24, 2025
Version: 1.0

Our Commitment

At Limbach, we believe in inclusive digital experiences. We are dedicated to making all our digital platforms and services accessible to every person, regardless of their abilities or disabilities. Our goal is to ensure meaningful access and usability for all.

Scope

This policy applies to all digital assets maintained or published by Limbach, including but not limited to:

  • Websites, mobile applications and web-apps
  • Documents, forms and multimedia content
  • Third-party embedded tools and plugins
  • Internal and external user interfaces

Standards and Guidelines

To realize our accessibility commitment, we align our efforts with recognized standards, specifically:

  • The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1 – AA (or later)
  • Applicable national and regional legal accessibility requirements
We aim for a high level of conformance, and we regularly review our digital services to maintain this.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Digital Team / Web Team: Ensures new and updated content meets accessibility criteria and undergoes testing.
  • Content Creators & Editors: Follow accessibility checklists (e.g., meaningful alt text for images, proper headings, captions for video).
  • Procurement / Vendor Managers: Require accessibility commitments from external suppliers and review third-party components for compliance.
  • Leadership: Provide resources and oversight to support accessibility objectives and continuous improvement.

Third-Party Components

We recognize that some features on our digital platforms may rely on external tools, plugins or embedded services that we do not fully control. While we strive to select and integrate only accessible third-party components, we cannot guarantee full compliance in all cases. If you encounter any accessibility barrier stemming from a third-party element, please notify us (see Section 7) so we can investigate and seek remediation.

Continuous Improvement & Monitoring

Accessibility is not a one-time project, but an ongoing journey. We commit to:

  • Regular audits of our digital platforms (manual and automated)
  • Providing training to teams on accessible design and development practices
  • Incorporating accessibility into project lifecycles (planning, design, testing, deployment)
  • Tracking and resolving accessibility issues in a timely manner

Feedback, Contact & Alternative Access

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our digital services. If you experience a barrier or have suggestions, please reach out to:

  • Email: accessibility@limbachinc.com
  • Phone: [Insert phone number]
  • Mail: [Insert postal address]

    When contacting us, please include:

    • The web address (URL) of the issue
    • A description of the barrier encountered
    • Your contact information (if you’d like a response)
    •  We will respond as promptly as possible and aim to provide alternative formats or accommodations as needed.

Disclaimers & Limitations

Although we strive for full accessibility, there may be instances where content or functionality falls short of our standards—for example when relying on third-party components, legacy systems, or temporary design limitations. In such cases, we will work toward a resolution as soon as practicable.

Review of Policy

This policy will be reviewed at least annually, or sooner if required by changes in legal requirements, standards (e.g., new WCAG versions) or organizational scope.
