Why did you decide to be on the WICS advisory council?
I am lucky to be the Corporate Sponsor of this team of amazing employees.

What is the biggest change you would like to see come out of the WICS effort/initiative?
I am excited to see Opportunities for a currently untapped talent pool.

What would you tell someone if they were interested in supporting this effort? How can they help?
Find out who your local advisor is and offer to help support and educate others about the opportunities available.

What's your favorite part of your job?
I have the pleasure of working with a great variety of people, both locally and across the country. Every day at least one of them makes me smile!

What advice would you give someone starting out in this industry?
Always say "yes" when asked to take ownership of something new. Make yourself indispensable and become the go-to person.

What is the biggest change you have seen in the construction industry since you started?
Increased awareness of the need for work life balance, and knowing that things don't always need to be done the same way because "that's how it's always been done".

Who inspires you and why?
I am inspired by people who go out of their way to make others laugh and find joy in our everyday lives.

What’s the best career advice you ever received?
Always make your boss look good.

What (work related thing) keeps you up at night?
One of my work concerns is ensuring we have the best employees working for us, who are engaged and inspired to love their jobs.

What would surprise us about you?
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and was certified to teach in the state of Illinois before moving to Pennsylvania.
