THE CHALLENGE.
This project required maintaining a fast-paced, phased startup and testing schedule aligned with the owner’s commissioning milestones. Systems had to be brought online in sequenced phases while adjacent areas remained under construction, increasing complexity and requiring precise turnover planning. Further compounding the challenge was the need to provide temporary system redundancy before permanent backup infrastructure could be installed. This required interim solutions that maintained operational reliability and protected commissioning timelines without compromising long-term system performance or safety.
THE SOLUTION.
To support phased startup requirements and maintain temporary redundancy, Limbach’s in-house engineering and fabrication teams collaborated to design, fabricate, and deploy a portable industrial water pumping and storage system housed within a modified shipping container. This self-contained, mobile unit was engineered for rapid connection and relocation, allowing it to be utilized at various locations across the project site as startup sequences progressed.
