OVERVIEW.
The Pioneer Power team has supported Heartland Corn Products through multiple facility expansions and infrastructure upgrades that have helped increase plant production capacity from 40 million gallons per year to 140 million gallons per year. Working within an active ethanol processing facility, the team has provided mechanical, process piping, and utility infrastructure solutions to support ongoing growth and operational reliability.
Recent work included the installation and integration of a combined heat and power system featuring a combustion turbine, heat recovery steam generator, duct burner, utility building addition, and medium-voltage electrical infrastructure. Additional projects have included fermentation, distillation, evaporation, drying, cooling tower, and utility system expansions, all completed while maintaining plant operations and minimizing production disruptions.
