THE CHALLENGE.

In 2019, the existing cooling tower for Saint Anne’s Hospital began to fail. With the warm, summer months quickly approaching, St. Ann’s was in need of temporary cooling, as this cooling tower was the only source of cooling for the entire hospital. In addition to the cooling tower project, St. Ann’s was also well underway with a major roofing project as well.

THE SOLUTION.

During our site investigation, several issues were identified that had to be solved prior to replacing the entire cooling tower. While we were developing the solution to fix the other outstanding system issues, our team installed a temporary chiller so the hospital would have cooling in the upcoming summer months.

Through careful coordination with the roofing project team and the hospital’s facility team, we were able to complete the project on time, provide the hospital with a new system just in time for summer, and did not have a single disruption to the hospital’s operations.
