DAVID R. GABOURY

David Gaboury joined Limbach’s Board of Directors in June 2024, following his tenure as Board Chair, CEO & President of Terracon, a 5,000+ employee-owned geo-engineering company. He joined Terracon in 1997, becoming CEO in 2002, and substantially grew the firm’s annual revenue from $75M to $750M. Prior to Terracon, he spent 15 years at Woodward Clyde, culminating as COO and President. Mr. Gaboury currently holds the position of Chair Emeritus at Terracon and serves on the boards of Smith Seckman Reid (Lead Director), RS&H (Board Chair), and Weston Solutions.

His previous leadership roles include Board Chair of Olathe Medical Center, Trustee Chair of Olathe Medical Services, Board member of the Construction Industry Round Table, and President of ASFE/The Geoprofessional Business Association. Additionally, Mr. Gaboury serves on the board of Hall’s Culligan, a 1,000-person water distribution company. He was honored as the 2013 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year® award winner. Mr. Gaboury holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, an M.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program. He is also a licensed professional engineer.
