A cross-functional, high-impact pipeline for future Branch Managers. MAP – Manager Advancement Program
Designed for first-time people leaders and newly promoted managers, MAP builds confidence and competence in essential leadership areas: goal-setting, feedback, delegation, time management, and team dynamics. The Heart & Mind Commitment to Safety Course

Limbach’s Academy Programs are designed to develop technical and operational excellence in roles that directly impact our customer relationships and project delivery. The Special Projects Manager Academy equips participants with the end-to-end competencies needed to lead Special Projects, from proposal development to operational execution, while building long-term customer value. Andre, New Jersey Branch Manager
Andre started his career with Harper Limbach in 2018 as a Special Projects Engineer and steadily rose through the ranks to become VP and Branch Manager of our New Jersey location. His path—from Project Manager to Division Manager to General Manager—reflects his commitment to growth and Limbach’s dedication to investing in its people. He’s a graduate of our Lead Level 2 and Leader Accelerator programs, both of which helped fast-track his development. Today, Andre leads with purpose, driven by a passion for creating opportunities for others just as they were created for him.

Robert, Industrial Air Branch Manager
Robert Rhodes, Jr. began his journey with Limbach as a Project Manager. He steadily advanced through roles like Senior Project Manager, Project Executive, and General Manager of our Ohio branch. Today, he leads as Branch Manager of Industrial Air, bringing years of experience and a people-first approach to the role. “The Limbach Way of leadership is about servant leadership—putting people first, embracing diverse perspectives, and creating space for teams to thrive,” he shares. His path reflects our belief that leadership is earned through service and growth.

Rob, EHS Regional Directors
Rob Sudz began his career as a pipefitter with Local 190, spending 20 years honing his craft in the field. In 2015, he brought that hands-on experience to Limbach as the Michigan Branch Safety Director. After graduating from our Lead Level 2 program in 2024, Rob was promoted to Regional EHS Director. His journey reflects the value of lived experience, leadership development, and our commitment to growing talent from within.

Our Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) are dedicated to working with you starting with onboarding and moving throughout your career to guide you in the Limbach ELEMENTS. The Limbach ELEMENTS are our core processes, and they include valuable templates, tools, and resources, along with courses and videos to help you do your job to the best of your ability every day. Alongside the coaching you’ll receive from these SMEs and our ELEMENTS, we also provide online learning that can bolster your soft skills and reinforce technical know-how. LEAD PROGRAMS
We have three in-house leadership programs that emphasize Leadership Excellence Accreditation and Development, or LEAD. Each level of LEAD becomes increasingly more rigorous and selective to provide our emerging leaders, mid-level leaders, and senior officials with the critical tools they need to embody servant leadership and execute strategy throughout the organization. THE HEART & MIND SAFETY PROGRAM
Safety is not just a priority for us; it is who we are. Our Hearts & Minds Safety program is a tag-team effort by our Safety group and our Learning team to provide you with the details of what safety means to us. A two-day learning event at each business unit underscores the weekly safety messages and actions shared by our Safety leaders across the organization. These messages and actions stem from the belief that safety starts with our hearts and our minds and doesn’t stop when we leave for the day. As our hearts and minds go home with us, so too, does a focus on safety.
PROJECT MANAGER ACADEMY
Project Manager Academy, or PM Academy, is a year-long program designed to introduce and reinforce key soft and technical skills to Project Engineers from across the company. By combining business relevance, action learning, guest speakers, and engaged executives, the content offered addresses company-specific technical skills such as scheduling, labor tracking, cash management, etc. as well as emotional intelligence, relationship management, active listening, and engaging with organizational strategy and company direction. This integrated curriculum allows PEs to network with one another and take the next step in their careers as well-rounded Project Managers.
REMOTE WORK & DIGITAL IMMERSION WEBINARS
We offer a variety of webinars to address the needs of our 21st century workforce. These webinars include a focus on ensuring remote work and remote learning are effective and sustainable. Digital Immersion webinars offered throughout the year are open to all and explain the ways in which we can leverage online platforms to communicate and achieve our daily tasks. These webinars exist to provide support and resources to our hybrid teams in alignment with our flexible work and remote work policies.
